Well I see I am well overdue for a new post!! Wow how quickly time goes by.
I am in Chicago for work today and head back to New York tomorrow afternoon and then on to Los Angeles for WOW Jam on Saturday. Last WOW Jam week I went on was back in 2007 (also in L.A.). Well techincally I helped out for 4 days in New Orleans later that fall but this is the first full mission week since 2007. I have helped out a day or two here or there for Jams in NYC. I am looking forward to it as the lack of WOW Jams in New York has been very frustrating to me.
Last weekend we had our men's retreat in upstate New York. What an amazing time we had as brothers in Christ. So much personal growth was taking place all weekend it has been awesome! Even more encouraging involved men who were laying down their burdens and thus motivating other men to do the same.
I also experienced some serious growth as well and am very excited about what God has in store for me. More on that in a later blog.
Perhaps the best thing about the Men's Retreat is that we have continued the momentum going this first week back and it is my fervent desire to keep that going and encourgaing my brothers to do so as well!
Okay I have to run...literally..its work out time at the Hotel gym....I love the W Chicago!
